Munros Bag A New RCV In Record Time

Crawfords of Beith has just taken delivery of brand new RediTruck from Gloucestershire-based Refuse Vehicle Solutions Ltd (RVS) as part of their ongoing haulage contract for leading Highland waste recycler Munros, only days after the order was placed.

Andrew Crawford of Crawfords of Crawford of Beith said: “We only had two weeks to replace a truck that had let us down and we had heard about RediTruck from RVS so we gave them a call. They delivered a brand new, ready for work refuse vehicle, in the exact spec we need, practically immediately.”

The vehicle is a brand new Daf CF fitted with an Olympus 23W body and fitted with a Beta Trade bin lift. RVS’ RediTruck service enables vehicle operators to buy a brand new, commercial specification, refuse vehicle from stock without having to wait manufacturer’s long lead times.

Paul Brown, Commercial Director, RVS said: “We introduced RediTruck for exactly this purpose.  We come across a lot of companies who need to react quickly to changes in demand or they suddenly need to replace vehicles in their fleet, and they can’t afford to wait for a vehicle.”

Andrew Crawford added: “We usually purchase vehicles direct from the manufacturer but have to wait for 6 months or more. Following our experience with RVS we won’t hesitate to go back to them in future. Everything has been spot on.”

As well as providing RediTruck, Quality Used and Remanufactured vehicles, RVS also offers the full range of refuse vehicle support services.  These include: new, used and reconditioned parts with next day delivery; repairs and maintenance; vehicle ancillary equipment fitted as required; an extensive fleet of vehicles for short to long term hire including contract hire; finance; and a Low Loader vehicle transportation service.
