Enva continues to expand trade waste services in Scotland

Recycling and resource recovery company, Enva, is expanding and refreshing its fleet by investing in new refuse vehicles to meet increasing demand for its trade services in Scotland.

The company has purchased two brand-new Euro 6 refuse vehicles from Refuse Vehicle Solutions Ltd (RVS) boosting its trade waste fleet to over 30 vehicles.

The new vehicles are both 26T 6x2 Mercedes Econic with Hillend Powerlink bodies and fitted with Trade UTL bin lifts. They were supplied in Enva livery with full manufacturer’s warranty, AMCS bin weighing equipment, and 4-way camera systems.

Irvine Morrison, Head of Transport & Logistics, Enva said: “We have previously purchased quality used vehicles from RVS but this is the first time we’ve sourced new vehicles from them. The vehicles are precisely the specification we need and they were delivered within weeks of ordering them. Usually, we would need to wait anywhere up to 12 months to have ready for work brand-new vehicles like these.”

The vehicles are from RVS’ RediTruck range of brand-new commercial spec vehicles, which are available direct from stock.

Paul Brown, Commercial Director, RVS said: “RediTruck is hugely popular with operators like Enva who need to respond quickly to the demands of the market place. We have always had a reputation for supplying excellent quality used vehicles, but we can now supply brand-new vehicles in the same timescales, so our customers have more choice.”

RVS provides a complete solution for refuse vehicle operators, supplying a wide range of refuse vehicles – new, quality used and remanufactured – as well as a host of support services comprising service, breakdown cover, contract hire, short term hire, new and used spare parts, finance and low loader services.
