The largest family recycling company in the Midlands, Jones Skips, is ready for the introduction of the Birmingham Clean Air Zone (CAZ) in January 2020 with its fleet of Euro 6 vehicles.
Lyndon Rusby, Managing Director, Jones Skips: “We have set ourselves a target to have no vehicles over 3 years old by 2021 and we are already nearly there. Thanks to our team of expert engineers, our vehicles are kept in tip-top condition, so we have one of the best fleets in the country even when compared to the larger national companies.”
In its latest round of investment Jones Skips purchased two brand new vehicles from Refuse Vehicle Solutions Ltd (RVS). The vehicles, both 26T 6x2 rear steer DAF, Dennis Olympus with Beta Trade lifts, were delivered in under 3 months.

Lyndon added: “We are very happy with the vehicles and the service. The team at RVS have great attention to detail and they keep you updated regularly. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy trucks from them again and we may also use their vehicle hire services in the future.”
