Gloucestershire-based Refuse Vehicle Solutions (RVS) will be showcasing one of its re-manufactured refuse vehicles at RWM show this year, to demonstrate the company’s commitment to providing superior quality, ‘as new’ vehicles, at a fraction of the cost.
The demonstration vehicle is a Dennis Eagle, Elite 2, 6x2 Narrow Chassis, sporting VWS onboard weighing equipment, a reverse camera system from Vision Techniques and strobe hazard warning beacons.
Spencer Law, director of RVS, has over 25 years experience in the waste management sector, first as a service engineer at Jack Allen and then moving on to set up Wastetec, a vehicle service provider for local authorities and commercial businesses.
Spencer said: “Our aim is to help customers get more value for money out of their fleets. We understand refuse vehicles inside out and our re-manufacturing process is rigorous. Once we have stripped a vehicle, replaced all the vulnerable parts and restored it to a quality assured standard we can double its lifetime. This saves the customer a substantial amount of money that they would have spent on either replacing or continually repairing vehicles.”
RVS can meet any customer specification expertly and quickly, from full or partial body re-manufacturing to the provision of a complete refuse vehicle or fleet of refuse vehicles.
Backed up by a nationwide network of service engineers RVS is equipped to provide after service support to its customers’ vehicles in the field. The company also stocks a comprehensive range of quality used spare parts for all makes and models of refuse vehicles, hook lifts and bin lifting equipment.
