With a large fleet of fuel-efficient vehicles, the Clearaway team needed two brand new refuse collection vehicles fast - and with manufacturers' lead times being too long, they approached Refuse Vehicle Solutions Ltd (RVS). RVS supplied two new Mercedes Actros RediTrucks fitted with all the additional features Clearaway required, such as customised livery, a weighing system and extra LED strobe lights for added safety. The vehicles also include new mirrorless wing mirrors, replacing conventional wing mirrors with a camera system that provides a wider view for extra safety.

RVS also supplied a quality used 26-tonne toploader, fully serviced in customised livery. The vehicles were ready in just five weeks.
