McGrath Bros (Waste Control) Ltd has boosted its fleet of RCV’s with the purchase of two Quality Used vehicles from Refuse Vehicle Solutions.
Accustomed to procuring new vehicles for its fleet or buying second hand and refurbishing themselves, the two Quality Used 2009 Mercedes Econic Geesink Vulture RCV’s with Split Bin lifts represent a new approach for the Zero Waste to landfill company.
John McDaid, Transport Director, McGrath Bros (Waste Control) Ltd said: “We needed more vehicles to service existing contracts that have grown in demand and urgency. We like the one-stop shop approach from RVS. The vehicles were delivered ready for work, immaculate and in our own livery so there was nothing to do on our part. We would definitely make RVS our first call the next time we are looking for Quality Used or remanufactured vehicles.”
Established in 1972 the McGrath Group started out as a skip hire, plant hire and waste ‘disposal’ company and is now one of the UK’s premier recycling facilities.
RVS specialises in revitalising used refuse vehicles, stripping them down and replacing or repairing defective parts to provide high quality ‘as new’ vehicles that cost a fraction of the expense of a new vehicle. The company has the engineering capabilities to adapt, modernise or remanufacture any make or model of refuse vehicle to match each client’s individual needs and budget.
