RVS has remained in operation throughout the COVID-19 pandemic supplying, maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure customers’ can continue to provide essential waste management services.
During this time every precaution is being taken to protect staff, customers, suppliers and colleagues against the threat of Coronavirus, both at RVS sites and at customers’ premises.
COVID-19 procedures and risk assessments are in place and regularly reviewed or updated in line with current guidance from the UK government. All office staff wear facemasks when not at their workstations; engineers and workshop technicians wear gloves and facemasks at all times to minimise potential contamination.
Additional measures include the thorough cleaning of vehicle cabs, with particular attention to ‘touch points’ before vehicles are returned to customers.
